Meet the Team:

Megan Hargroder  founded CONVERSATIONS, LLC in 2010 to help businesses create an online community around their brand and to teach individuals how to use the internet to become more efficient and effective. As an Online Conversations Strategist, Megan offers strategic marketing consulting to help her clients optimize and leverage their online presence, as well as management and implementation services on a full spectrum of social media tools.  She began her career as a reporter for the Lafayette Fox News affiliate, the managing editor of The Vermillion, Marketing Director for Acadiana Center for Film and Media, Communications Coordinator at Neighborhoods Partnership Network, and the Community Manager at Launch Pad. Megan graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a BA in Broadcasting in 2008. She loves yoga, recently began juicing and is always working on developing a healthier lifestyle. Julia Ballard began working for Conversations in October 2011. She works behind the scenes to keep social media content and conversations relevant. Julia is also working towards becoming the go-to girl for SEO in New Orleans. She is a New Orleans transplant, originally from Cambridge by way of California where she studied psychology at the University of Redlands. Julia spent a summer interning at a large e-commerce company based out of Boston. She worked directly under the VP of Sales and Business Development, learning to implement communication and marketing strategies into daily tasks and customer acquisition. She is inspired by adventurers, yogis, and people who speak more than two languages. Julia tweets, bikes everyday, and also works as the Assistant News Editor at Silicon Bayou News.
